Before I took some time-out from blogging I ran a competition with Bisolvon to support Bisolvon Dry Honey Lime Pastilles.

The competition was to win 1 of 4 $50 iTunes vouchers.

Entrants had to share when they thought the most inappropriate time to have a dry coughing fit would be.

There were some really creative entries.

The following four have each won an iTunes voucher:

Susan

"It happened to me the other week, my boss was asking me to draft a letter for her and all the sudden I felt that terrible tickle in my throat. I tried the little cough to get rid of it, but then it started! I took a drink of water and spluttered it all over my desk! My boss asked me to come and see her when I had recovered. So after a few minutes I went into her office to try again, But guess what? It bloody happened again!! I quickly left her office apologising through my loud SECOND coughing attack!!!!! BTW by the end of the day I did get that letter done for my boss!!!"

Fiona

"It happened to me once at a a family member's funeral. I could feel that tickle coming and swallowed hard, hoping to avert it. We were at a very sombre part of the service and I was sitting there coughing with my mouth closed (try it-not easy!). It got to the point where my cheeks were blown out, eyes bulging and tears streaming down my face when I had to jump up and run out of the church with my hand clasped firmly over my mouth. The looks from the other mourners were a sight to behold-everyone thought I was going to do the big chuck over them. Highly embarrassing..."

Linda

"When you're pretending to be Spanish with little English to the door-to-door seller just for fun (I hate sellers at my door or phoning me).......I tried so hard to suppress it, but the tickle just got worse and worse...... I can categorically say that it is very, very hard to keep a fake accent with a dry cough and extremely embarrassing when you're caught out! But even with a red face, they couldn't part me from my money....if only they'd been selling Bisolvon instead."

Angie

"I had the worst dry coughing experience in the middle of a phone interview for my dream job ( didn't get it suprise suprise ), but my potential boss thought I was choking and kept asking if I was ok and if someone could help me, I couldn't get out the words I'm ok, just can't stop coughing! By the time I could talk again I think he'd made his decision."

Congratulations to each of the winners.

Hopefully there will be no more embarrassing dry coughing incidents!!
